Please use the social media buttons below to get out the vote for your favorite. And let's talk roller coasters today in the comments. Leviathan looked blazing fast, and I voted for it. Behemoth's view is nothing to brag about, but at least that nasty brown water is better than a parking lot. Plus Behemoth reminds me of Apollo's Chariot and Leviathan reminds me of Intimidator , and between those two, AC is the better coaster. IMHO, of course. So, Behemoth it is. While both are excellent rides, I have to give the slight edge to Leviathan.
The ride is fast, smooth, and long it may look short in the video, but the ride is definitely long enough. In regards to the hyper coaster vs. Its rough-and-tumble ride includes a few moments that will have you thinking it's more of a spinebuster than a minebuster. While it includes a nice helix in a tunnel near its finale, unfortunately, the year-old coaster is lacking in airtime. Thanks to its first drop, its thrilling enough for all riders without intimidating them.
Bonus: Ghoster Coaster's low height requirement 46 inches makes it a great ride for children just starting to earn their coaster warrior stripes. With a top speed of 26 mph, Silver Streak is even tamer than Ghoster Coaster. The short ride took a little longer than a minute. With a height requirement of 46 inches, this coaster is designed primarily for young children and their families. The rough ride doesn't deliver any airtime.
Although the foot-tall coaster probably looked imposing in , it now looks puny compared to Leviathan, the giga coaster that towers directly above it. Backlot Stunt Coaster grabs rider's attention with an electromagnetic launch right out of the loading station. That gives it enough oomph to spiral up a triple helix. The coaster was originally known as Italian Job: Stunt Track, and it included explosions, fire, and other effects inspired by the Mark Wahlberg car-heist film. None of those effects were working during my ride but at least two more launches kept the action lively.
Nearly every major amusement park has a boomerang caster like The Bat. Guests should check with Guest Services to determine if they are eligible to ride using the full body harness. Alternate access is available at the ride exit to the right. Riders will have to take several steps, on their own or with the assistance of a companion, and be capable of stepping up into the ride unit.
Please do not use the ride restraints for support while entering and exiting, as they will shift. A wheelchair lift is available to transport guests to the ride platform.
Please use the call button at the base of the lift to request assistance. Visit our Guest Assistance Guide for additional accessibility information.
Height Requirement. Thrill level. The Bat. Go at your own pace, she said. I feel sick. The ride clicks forward. I feel a primal urge to escape. Jonathan looks cheery. Someone told me closing your eyes makes it scarier, but mine are involuntarily glued shut. At the peak, I squint at what appears to be the entire GTA. And then, whoosh, I explode. Or at least I feel like I do. My entire body goes rigid as the G-forces take hold of me and lift my body against the safety bar.
I think I left my brain and body at the top of the ride. For far too long — but actually just two minutes — I endure this roller-coaster. I did not die.
