How can warriors wear plate

As a Fury warrior I whould pass on most plate drops in MC because its pure tanking gear. The perspective I presented has nothing to do with armor. BiS or not, giving a warrior a decent [plate] upgrade and a rogue a big upgrade ought to be preferable to giving a warrior a big upgrade and a rogue nothing as far as raid DPS goes for an arbitrary pre-Cataclysm raid tier.

I am absolutely not trying to tell anyone how to do things in Classic. For fury warriors there are mostly weapons, rings and trinkets.

Everything changes only when you get into AQ Also Plate. It sucks loosing a good cloth robe to a feral druid because he might need it for healing, just at it sucks for a rogue to loose a leather item to the tank cause he needs it to dps. Its cool that people wonna go more than one spec, but when needing on other classes gear - be so kind to ask forehand please.
